After serving as the sports editor for The Advance-Titan in Oshkosh, Wis., Balkman has also written sports features and covered football, women’s gymnastics, men’s soccer, men’s swimming & diving, men’s and women’s tennis, and men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field all at the collegiate level.
Balkman has also been published on Sportsfaith.com and has written press releases for the Fantasy Football Players Championship. Balkman was one of the editors for Sam Hendricks’ book “Fantasy Football Tips: 201 Ways to Win through Player Rankings, Cheat Sheets and Better Drafting.”
